Community Kaleidoscope

Equality Through Education

My name is Chandler Kirkland, and I'm a Junior at The Paideia School. For the past three years, I’ve worked with students at a private high school for neurodiverse teens and young adults. I've noticed that many educational resources for children on the autism spectrum are either too expensive or not suitable for their needs. To address this, I created “Community Kaleidoscope,” a project aimed at providing appropriate educational materials for children with various neurological disorders who may lack access to them. I'm partnering with local libraries, churches, and barber shops to create “library boxes” filled with fidget toys, specialized books, and school supplies for these children to use. You can support my initiative by buying items from my Amazon wishlist or by donating money via Zelle. Donating details are below. Thank you!
